Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 44th Annual Scientific Congress of The Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand and the 3rd Joint Surgical Meeting with The Ministry of Public Health in Pattaya, Jomtien during 13-16 July 2019.
The theme of this congress is entitled “ ASEAN Collaboration in Value-Based Surgery”.
To date, there is the advanced development in the modalities of surgical treatments aiming to minimize pain through the less invasive surgical access with the outcome achievement compared to the conventional procedures. However, the long-term outcome, the safety, and the expenditure of treatment have to be evaluated and compared among those modalities to obtain the evidence-based strategies for the appropriate guidelines of management in all surgical specialties.
This year, Thailand is the host of ASEAN Economics Community Collaboration. We are taking this opportunity to invite the surgeons from ASEAN countries to share their surgical knowledge and experience in our annual scientific meeting. With the same disease entity and the same physical structure among ASEAN population, the scientific information will be highly valuable and applicable to all participants. Moreover, the strong relationship among ASEAN surgeons will be more substantial in the future.
We are pleased to have your suggestions and participations for the most productive activities of this congress. Our communication will be effective through the RCST website “ www.rcst.or.th”.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to this congress.
